1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Beat My Bracket ("Service"), operated by Genii IT Services Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Beat My Bracket is a free web-based bracket game. You may fill a knockout bracket, receive a shareable card, and share a link with friends at no charge. An optional one-time payment unlocks leaderboard visibility and rank display - a digital vanity feature only.
The Service is not a contest, lottery, or gambling product. We do not offer cash prizes, rewards, or payouts of any kind. Payment does not affect scoring, gameplay, or competitive outcomes.
3. Unofficial status
Beat My Bracket is an unofficial fan game. We are not affiliated with FIFA, the FIFA World Cup, or any football governing body. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a payment. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement where applicable.
5. Accounts and data
No sign-up is required to play. Brackets are identified by a unique ID stored in your browser and on our servers. You are responsible for keeping your bracket link private if you do not wish others to view your picks.
6. Payments
Optional unlock payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you agree to Razorpay's terms as well. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) for users in India and in US Dollars (USD) for users elsewhere; the exact amount and currency are displayed before checkout. All fees are for the digital unlock described at the time of purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service
- Submit offensive, misleading, or impersonating display names on the leaderboard
- Misrepresent the Service as an official World Cup or FIFA product
8. Leaderboard and content
Leaderboard display names and bracket picks may be visible to other users. We may remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate, at our discretion.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accurate live scores, or error-free operation. Tournament data and rankings depend on results entered into the system.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Genii IT Services Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or the equivalent of ₹29 / $0.49, whichever is greater.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
